Epcot Hotels
Posted by: wordvixen in Disney Hotels, Epcot, Planning, tags: Disney Hotels, EpcotIf your favorite theme park is Epcot, you’ll want to stay in one of the Epcot hotels on your next Disney vacation. The vacationers who prefer Epcot to the other Disney parks tend to appreciate a more refined experience- good food, cultural experiences and so on. The Epcot hotels reflect that, though not all are in the upper price ranges.
The Disney hotels are divided into three groups- the value resorts which start at less than $100 a night, the moderate resorts which are usually between $130 and $200 a night, and the deluxe resorts which start at $200 a night and have no price cap. The Epcot hotels mostly consist of deluxe resorts because of that gravitation towards culture and luxury, but even here can good deals be found.
Deluxe Epcot Hotels:
Boardwalk Inn and Villas- The Boardwalk is modeled after the Atlantic seaside of the 1920’s and ’30’s. But don’t worry, the amenities are all modern and well worth the price of one of Disney’s Deluxe resorts. The Boardwalk, as well as some other Epcot hotels, has the added benefit of Friendships that travel the circuit between Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and some of the Epcot hotels.
Yacht & Beach Clubs- The Yacht Club and the Beach Club are sister resorts. Of the Epcot hotels, they may be the most convenient resorts to Epcot, being within walking distance of the International Gateway park entrance. There is a Friendship that can take you to Disney’s Hollywood Studios or the International Gateway at Epcot, and the Swan & Dolphin is within walking distance.
Swan & Dolphin- The Swan resort and the Dolphin resorts are sister resorts. However, they are not owned by Disney and some of the perks that Disney offers for guests of their hotels will not apply to Swan or Dolphin guests. However, many regulars at Walt Disney World wouldn’t stay anywhere else. For one thing, of the Epcot hotels, the Swan and the Dolphin are the most convenient, boasting the same easy distance from Epcot’s International Gateway that The Boardwalk and the Yacht and Beach Clubs offer, but directly across from the Swan’s parking lot is Disney’s Fantasia mini-golf. And no one does mini-golf l
Moderate Epcot Hotels:
Caribbean Beach- The Caribbean Beach resort has long been a favorite of families. It boasts 9 pools, and a lake surrounded by white sand beaches. It’s also very close to Typhoon Lagoon and Fantasia mini-golf. But what makes Caribbean Beach truly stand apart from the other Epcot hotels, is that despite the considerably lower price tag, Caribbean Beach has re-themed an entire building’s rooms to Pirates of the Caribbean, as well as having a pirate themed pool, and a pirate adventure cruise for children.
Truly, though these Epcot hotels are the closest hotels to Epcot. Any hotel on Disney property will exceed your expectations and be close to any point of interest also on property.
