This may come as a shock, but there is no such thing as Disneyland Epcot. Some might argue that California Adventure is a sort of state-side version of the world showcase since it highlights California rather than, well, the world, but it is, in fact, a totally separate park.

Epcot is actually one of the four parks of Walt Disney World. Walt Disney World is in Florida, while Disneyland is in California. Despite the similarity of Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom, the two resorts are totally different.

A Disneyland Epcot would be a bit overkill if the Disney company decided to consider that as an addition. Epcot is known for appealing to adults more than to kids, being something of a gastronomic paradise with some culture thrown in. California Adventure already fulfills that space on the Disneyland agenda.

My husband did, however, point out to me that the search for a Disneyland Epcot could simply be people wanting to find Epcot attractions at Disneyland. This make sense to me, because Disneyland  and the various Walt Disney World parks share a lot of attractions. So, I did a little digging, and found out what Epcot attractions are available at Disneyland.

So if you’re searching for Disneyland Epcot, here are the Epcot attractions that are available at Disneyland.

Innoventions- a boring attraction at Walt Disney World, but pretty cool at Disneyland. This Disneyland “Epcot” attraction has Honda’s robot, and Stitch’s Picture Phone.

Honey, I Shrunk the Audience- Based on Honey, I Shrunk The Kids, this Disneyland Epcot attraction (Located in Disneyland’s Tomorrowland) is essentially the same as the HISTA available at Walt Disney World’s Epcot.

Soarin’ Over California- Soarin’ Over California is a virtual hang glider ride over the state of California. It’s located in Disneyland’s California Adventure park, and made its way over to Walt Disney World’s Epcot for Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary Celebration.

The question now is when you search for Disneyland Epcot, are you actually looking for Disneyland in California, or Epcot in Florida?
